Safety

General Safety Guidelines

1.Read the Instructions

Before using the Aurora Mop, read the included user manual to familiarize yourself with its features and functions.

2.Keep Out of Reach of Children

Store the mop and cleaning solutions in a safe place, away from children and pets.

3.Use on Appropriate Surfaces

Ensure the flooring is sealed and safe for mopping to avoid damage or uneven cleaning. Always test a small, inconspicuous area if you’re unsure.

4.Avoid Overuse of Cleaning Solution

Over-wetting your floors can lead to warping or damage, especially on wood and laminate surfaces. Use the spray trigger sparingly for a fine, even mist.

When Using Cleaning Solutions

1.Use Approved Cleaners

Only use cleaning solutions that are safe for your specific floor type. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage both your floors and the microfiber pads.

2.Dilute Concentrated Solutions

If using a concentrated cleaning solution, dilute it according to the manufacturer’s instructions before adding it to the refillable spray bottle.

3.Avoid Flammable or Toxic Liquids

Do not use flammable or highly toxic substances in the spray bottle, as this may pose a fire or health hazard.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1.Wash Microfiber Pads Regularly

After each use, rinse or machine wash the microfiber pads to remove dirt and debris. Allow them to air dry completely before reuse to prevent mildew or odors.

2.Empty the Spray Bottle

After cleaning, empty the refillable spray bottle and rinse it with water. Store it empty to prevent clogging or leakage.

3.Inspect for Wear and Tear

Regularly check the mop handle, spray system, and microfiber pads for signs of wear or damage. Replace any worn parts promptly to maintain safe and effective operation.

Handling the Mop Safely

1.Use on Flat Surfaces Only

Avoid using the mop on uneven or rough surfaces, which could damage the microfiber pads or the mop head.

2.Store Upright

When not in use, store the mop in an upright position to prevent tripping hazards or leaks from the spray system.

3.Avoid Excessive Force

Let the mop do the work—avoid applying excessive pressure while mopping to protect the handle and swivel joint.
