First Wash Grout Remover

TileMaster First Wash Grout Remover is made for the installation stage. Used as the first wash once the grout has started to cure, it clears grout haze and builders’ residue quickly, so you need fewer wash-downs and are less likely to flood fresh grout lines.

Suitable surfaces

• Porcelain and ceramic tiles
• Glass mosaics
• Acid-resistant stone
• Newly or recently laid tiles, indoors and out

Not suitable for: wood or calcium-based (acid-sensitive) stone such as marble and limestone. Do not use abrasive sponges.

How to use

1. Once the grout has started to cure (follow the grout manufacturer’s guidance, normally 10–30 minutes), do a test clean with a damp sponge.
2. Spray First Wash evenly over the surface.
3. Leave to react for 1–2 minutes, depending on the material.
4. Clean off with a damp cloth.
5. For stubborn residue, repeat after one hour.
6. Follow the grout manufacturer’s instructions for when the surface is ready for traffic.
