Wax Dressing – Satin Finish

TileMaster Satin Wax Dressing protects, enhances and maintains absorbent natural stone in one product. It forms a strong surface barrier that brings out the natural look of the stone with a soft satin finish and makes everyday cleaning easier.

Suitable surfaces

• Unpolished marble and limestone
• Quarry tiles
• Granite and other absorbent stone
• Indoor floors, walls and split-face tiles

Not suitable for: wet areas or outdoor use. It does not protect against oil, acid or chemical damage, surface wear or scratching.

How to use

1. Test on a small area first and allow 24 hours to cure, then check the finish, any colour change and the level of protection.
2. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of residue and previous treatments.
3. Apply one even coat of Satin Wax Dressing. Do not over-apply or let it pool.
4. After about 1 hour, or once touch dry, check whether you have the finish you want.
5. On highly absorbent stone, apply a second coat after 1 hour.
6. Light foot traffic (socks and slippers) after 2 hours from the final coat. Allow 48 hours before the floor gets wet or comes into contact with possible stains.

Aftercare

Clean with TileMaster Cleaner No.2 diluted at 1:200 (one cap in 5 litres of water). To revitalise the finish, mix 200ml of Satin Wax Dressing into 1 litre of water and apply with a mop.

Coverage and sizes

• High-absorbency honed natural stone: 8–12 m² per litre per coat
• Medium-absorbency honed natural stone: 15–25 m² per litre per coat
• Available sizes: 1 litre, 5 litres
