TileMaster received a sample tile from Pavigres Europe relating to a tile installation within a busy shopping centre in Liverpool. The request was to evaluate if the supplied tile was cleanable, what methods and cleaning products should be followed as it was reported:
• The floor becames dirty very easy
• The floor was susceptible to staining
• The floor pads being used were not effective and being ripped up whilst cleaning was in progress
• The floor couldn’t be maintained correctly
TileMaster cleaned two small area’s using TileMaster Cleaner No.1 diluted 1:50 without rinsing and TileMaster Cleaner No.3 diluted 1:5 and rinsed. TileMaster Cleaner No.1 was sufficient to clean the surface removing dirt and dust with the TileMaster cleaner No.3 being used for stains.
From the test analysis performed, and the observation of the floor on site, we setup a more efficient system of maintenance based on the problems and location of the floor area.
The client now has a perfectly cleaned floor together with a free maintenance schedule bespoke to their floor and environment.
