Colour Enhancing Sealer – Solvent Based

TileMaster Colour Enhancing Sealer brings out the depth and natural beauty of stone while sealing it against everyday spills, dirt and grime. Being an impregnating sealer it is breathable and does not form a film or add a shine. It simply enriches the colour, permanently.

Suitable surfaces

• Marble, limestone, travertine and granite
• Other absorbent natural stone
• Floors, walls, wet rooms and worktops, indoors and in covered outdoor areas

Not suitable for: protection against acid or chemical damage, surface wear or scratching. The colour change is permanent.

How to use

1. Test on a small area first and allow 24 hours to cure, then check the finish, any colour change and the level of protection.
2. Make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of residue and previous treatments.
3. Apply one generous, even coat of Colour Enhancing Sealer to saturate the surface. It should hold a wet, glass-like look for about 5 seconds; apply more if needed.
4. After about 10 minutes, and before it dries on the surface, buff off any excess with clean, dry white cloths. To shift stubborn residue, re-wet it with a cloth dampened with the sealer.
5. On highly absorbent stone, apply a second coat after 3 hours, repeating the steps above.
6. Light foot traffic (socks and slippers) after 4 hours from the final coat. Allow 48 hours before the floor gets wet or comes into contact with possible stains.

Aftercare

Maintain sealed surfaces with TileMaster Cleaner No.1 (ceramic and porcelain) or Cleaner No.2 (natural stone), used as directed on the cleaner’s product page.

Coverage and sizes

• Medium-absorbency honed natural stone: 15–20 m² per litre per coat
• Polished stone: 15–20 m² per litre per coat
• Available sizes: 250ml, 1 litre, 5 litres
