Description

TM Algo Softwash is a professional-grade outdoor cleaner for patios, drives, paths and walls. Applied neat, it removes the unsightly look of algae, green mould, grey lichen and black spot from natural stone and masonry, and helps restore weathered sandstone coping stones.

Not suitable for: stained wood or decking, vinyl, plastic or metal (it may corrode metals). It contains chlorine and will stain fabrics and sensitive materials, and it may slightly lighten some surfaces.

How to use

Wear chemical-resistant gloves and sealed safety goggles. Remove loose debris and pre-wet the area with clean water.
Apply TM Algo Softwash generously and neat, using a pump-up sprayer or watering can. Take care to avoid fabrics and other sensitive surfaces.
It starts working straight away. Agitating with the TileMaster 40 machine or a deck brush speeds things up.
Wash the area down with clean water to neutralise the cleaner, then power wash with clean water and check the result.
Apply a second time if needed. For severe black and white lichen, leave it to dwell for longer and power wash off the following day.

Take care around plants and ponds: the solution can harm or kill vegetation. Avoid washing it onto lawns and beds, or rinse with plenty of clean water if this cannot be avoided. Take extra care near fish ponds, and do not apply when rain is imminent.

P305+P351+P338 IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

Personal protective equipment

Hands: chemical-resistant gloves (PVC, neoprene or nitrile, EN 374).
Eyes: sealed safety goggles (EN 166).
Body: long sleeves and suitable work footwear.
Use with good ventilation.

First aid

Skin: remove contaminated clothing and shoes and wash the skin with soap and plenty of water. Get medical advice if irritation, swelling or redness persists.
Eyes: rinse with plenty of water for about 15 minutes, removing contact lenses if easy to do. Get medical advice if irritation persists.
If swallowed: rinse the mouth. Do not induce vomiting. Get medical advice immediately.

Storage and environment

Keep the container tightly closed in a dry place. Protect from frost and avoid temperatures above 40°C. Do not store with acids or strong bases.
Avoid contact with wood and light metals.
Do not let the product enter drains, ponds, surface water or watercourses.

I was told to use 17 inch Dimond milling pads to remove some sealer from my . Black limestone from the technical department at tile master. so I did use them and they didn’t work after a few hours they wore down at a cost of £40.00 each pad total waste of money . I complained and sent photos but no one reply and my patio doesn’t look any better . I think that the product are substandard and inferior quality .
