Job History

This kitchen floor was estimated to be around 15 years old and not received a deep clean for around 10 years, it had only been cleaned with of the self cleaners and a mop which was leaving marks on the floor where it was soaking into the stone as the seal had worn away. As the years went on the dirt had built up in the Travertine pits which a standard cleaner would not reach. When the customer called TileMaster Birghton for a free demo they couldn’t believe the results.

Client Requirements

The customer required the following from the contractor

1) A clean mark free floor

2) Removal of all dirt in Travertine pits

3) A seal to protect against from water and oil spillages from cooking

4) Leaving the floor with a Matt finish

Tile Master Specification

As the floor had so many years of dirt built up we use a mix of Number 3 and Diamond Dust to get rid od all dirt of the surface and deep down in the pits agitating with the TileMaster machine and Pad B. Number 3 is diluted with water at a rate of 1:4. Once you can see that the dirt has been lifted we extract all the waste with a high powered wet and dry Vacuum.

The floor then needs time to dry before applying the TileMaster All in One water based sealer which will protect against and water and oil based spillages.

Then to give it that perfect Matt finish it is coated once with TileMaster Matt Wax Dressing
