Restore depth, colour and elegance to your black or dark marble vanity with the Tile Master Black & Dark Marble Vanity & Sink Care Kit. Put together for maintaining and enhancing polished and honed black and dark marble vanity tops, basins, sinks and splashbacks, this kit cleans with a pH-neutral stone cleaner, enriches colour and seals the stone against oil- and water-based stains.

Ideal for vanity tops and basins that have gone tired or dull with everyday use, from soap residue and water marks to toothpaste and cosmetic spills, this all-in-one kit helps bring back the rich, deep appearance black marble is known for.

The Flexi pads cannot be used by hand: you need a hand machine such as a Flex or DeWalt polisher, or any orbital sander, with a suitable 5″ or 6″ hook-and-loop backing pad (not included). The pads are best suited to flat areas such as the vanity top; a 6″ pad may not reach into tight curves inside a basin bowl.

What’s Included in the Kit

• Flexi HD 6″ 150mm Diamond Pads x 4 – 400 Red, 800 Blue, 1500 Yellow and 3000 Green

  Flexible diamond polishing pads for marble, limestone and travertine, used in grit order from coarse to fine. Can be used wet or dry; if you use them wet, follow your machine manufacturer’s safety instructions.

• Tile Master Cleaner No.2 – 250ml Ready to Use

  A professional-grade, pH-neutral cleaner designed specifically for natural stone, with no acids, alkalis or bleaches. Lifts everyday dirt, grease and grime, such as soap and toiletry residue, from vanity tops and basins without damaging marble. Supplied ready to use, so use it straight from the bottle with no mixing, then rinse well with clean water.

• Colour Enhancing Sealer – 250ml

  A penetrating, impregnating sealer that enriches and deepens the natural colour of black and dark marble, restoring richness and contrast while protecting against oil- and water-based stains. It is breathable and doesn’t form a film or add a shine. Suitable for marble vanity tops, basins and sinks, as well as wet rooms and worktops. The colour change is permanent, so always test a small area first. Allow 24 hours before the sealed surface gets wet or comes into contact with possible stains, so plan for the basin to be out of use for that time.

• Microfibre Cloth

  High-quality, lint-free microfibre cloth ideal for applying cleaner, buffing the surface and achieving a streak-free finish.

A note on etching

Marble is sensitive to acids, and many everyday bathroom products, such as some cleaners, limescale removers, toiletries and cosmetics, are acidic and can leave dull etch marks. No DIY sealer or product, including the Colour Enhancing Sealer in this kit, stops acid etching: the sealer protects against staining, not against acid or chemical damage. Wipe spills up promptly and clean with a pH-neutral cleaner such as Cleaner No.2.
