What’s in the kit

TileMaster Cleaner No.2 – Natural Stone Cleaner (250 ml RTU sprayer) – pH-neutral daily/maintenance cleaner safe for marble, travertine and limestone.
TileMaster Stain Away (250 ml RTU sprayer) – targets mould in shower grout and common coloured stains (tea/coffee/red wine, etc.). pH 11.5–13.
TM Grout Seal Water-Based Sealer (500 ml) – invisible, breathable protection against water-based staining on natural stone; easy to apply.

Coverage & timing (guidance):

All-in-One typical coverage per 1 L is 10–20 m² per coat on honed stone; scale that to ~2.5–5 m² per coat for 250 ml. Allow 4 hours light foot-traffic and 24 hours before wetting.

How To Use

Detailed step-by-step guide (Marble / Travertine / Limestone showers)

Tools you’ll use

Kit contents above, plus: 6″ velcro backing pad (for drill/hand polisher), white pads/microfibres, plastic scraper, painter’s tape, PPE (gloves/eye protection), bucket/spray bottle, plastic sheeting to protect glass/fittings.

A. Assessment (2–3 minutes)

Identify: soap scum, mouldy grout, and etch/limescale marks (dull, chalky patches). Avoid any acidic products on these stones—etching is best corrected by light honing/polishing with the diamond pads.

B. Deep clean & de-soap

Mask metal trims/taps and silicone where you’ll polish.
Spray Cleaner No.2 generously on stone and grout; dwell 3–5 min (keep wet), agitate, then rinse/wipe dry. Repeat if needed.

C. Treat mould & stains (grout/stone)

Apply Stain Away to affected grout lines and stained spots.
Dwell per label, agitate softly, rinse thoroughly. (Bleach-based—avoid textiles, ventilate well; always pre-test.)

D. Correct etching / limescale marks & restore finish – YOU WILL NEED FLEXI DIAMOND PADS

Work small sections; keep surfaces damp to control dust and slurry.

Choose starting grit:
- Light water marks / slight dullness → start 800.
- Noticeable etching / matt patches → start 400.
Polish sequence: 400 → 800 → 1500 → 3000 → 8000, rinsing and wiping slurry between grits. Use light, even pressure with overlapping passes; keep pad flat and moving.
Edges & corners: reduce pressure and angle slightly; hand-finish if needed.
- Honed/satin: stop at 1500–3000.
- Higher gloss: finish at 8000.

E. Rinse & dry down

Rinse residue; towel dry. Allow the stone to dry fully (ideally overnight with ventilation).

F. Seal the stone (stain protection)

Ensure the surface is dust-free and completely dry.
Apply Water-Based Sealer evenly until the stone looks wet/glassy for a few seconds.
After ~10 min (before drying on surface), buff off all excess with clean white towels.
Apply a second coat on very absorbent areas after ~3 hrs.
Light use after ~4 hrs; do not wet for 24 hrs. (Does not protect from acid or chemical damage.)

G. After-care

Squeegee after showers; keep good ventilation.
Clean with Cleaner No.2 (diluted for maintenance) — avoid acidic cleaners/descalers on these stones.

Will this remove white limescale marks from marble?

No, you will need the restoration kit with diamond pads—by lightly honing/polishing the surface with the Flexi pads (start 400–800 as needed, then refine). Avoid acid descalers on marble/travertine/limestone.

Will the sealer make it shiny?

No. All-in-One Grout and Tile Sealer is an invisible, breathable stain protector; it doesn’t create a film or gloss and doesn’t protect against acids.

How much area will 250 ml of sealer cover?

Approx. 2.5–5 m² per coat on honed stone (based on 10–20 m² per litre). Highly absorbent areas may need a second coat.

Can I use this on polished marble?

Yes, it wont effect the shine in any way.
