Grout Master Colour Seal is a premium solid-colour grout sealant for transforming tired, stained or discoloured grout. Its thick formula clings to vertical joints and fills small pits and cracks, and aluminium oxide adds durability, giving an even, colour-stable finish that resists stains.

Suitable surfaces

• Sanded and unsanded grout
• Polymer and polymer-modified grout
• Interior and exterior; withstands freeze/thaw and wet conditions

Not suitable for: areas under constant immersion. Extremely porous tiles must be sealed or protected first to avoid staining.

How to use

Make sure the grout is sound, clean, free of any contamination that could affect adhesion, and visibly dry before applying. On-site testing is recommended.

1. Shake well. Using the spout, apply a narrow bead of Colour Seal along the grout line and spread it evenly with a toothbrush-style brush, brushing in one direction as much as possible. Use only as much as you need for even coverage.
2. Within a few minutes, wipe the excess off the tile with a slightly damp shammy, working in one direction. Wiping too late lets it dry on the tile; wiping too soon takes colour out of the joint.
3. Colour all the joints running one way across the room first, then the joints running the other way.
4. Let it dry to an even colour and dry to the touch, usually about an hour or less. Touch up and remove any drips from the tile during this time.
5. Once dry, buff off any colour haze: mist the floor very lightly with clean water and buff with a clean, dry towel. Use a white scrub pad on stubborn marks.

Drying time

• The floor can be walked on carefully straight away.
• Keep shoes and pets off for a few hours, until the finish is hard to a fingernail.
• Clean only with clean water for the first 5 days.

Clean tools in warm, soapy water.

Black, blue, brown, white, yellow, umber, grey and red.

• Approximate coverage per 100ml (varies with tile size, joint width, porosity and application method):
  • 100 × 100 mm tiles, 5 mm joints: about 4 m²
  • 150 × 150 mm tiles, 6 mm joints: about 5 m²
  • 200 × 200 mm tiles, 6 mm joints: about 6 m²
  • 300 × 300 mm tiles, 10 mm joints: about 10 m²
  • 450 × 450 mm tiles, 10 mm joints: about 12 m²
• Available sizes: 100ml
