Strip It – LVT Polish Stripper

TileMaster Strip It is our mildest stripper and the one to choose for luxury vinyl tile (LVT). It removes previously applied floor polishes, polymer dressings and light sealers so the floor is ready for a fresh dressing such as TM Shield.

Which stripper do I need?

• Strip It (this product) — mildest; for LVT polishes and dressings (also usable on ceramic, porcelain and stone for light coatings).
• TM Stripper — water-based; for sealers and coatings on natural stone, ceramic and porcelain.
• Tile and Stone Stripper — solvent-based; for tough yacht varnish and two-part solvent sealers on stone and tiles.

Suitable surfaces

• Luxury vinyl tile (LVT)

• Natural stone (light coatings)
• Domestic and light commercial floors

Not suitable for: tough two-part solvent sealers or yacht varnish (use Tile and Stone Stripper); contact with surrounding plastic or painted surfaces. Ventilate the work area.

How to use

1. Sweep or vacuum the floor.
2. Use neat for heavy build-up, or dilute up to 1:5 for light coatings.
3. Apply evenly and leave for 5–10 minutes, keeping the surface wet.
4. Agitate with a brush, Pad C or the TileMaster machine.
5. Remove the slurry with a mop or wet vac.
6. Rinse well with clean water and allow to dry before applying a new dressing.
