Description
The Complete Tile Repair Kit puts everything for a neat tile patch in one box. Use it to fill chips, cracks and small holes in ceramic and porcelain floor and wall tiles, colour the filler to match the tile, and finish the repair flush with the surface. It’s ideal for fixing a chipped floor tile, a dropped-pan crack in the kitchen, or old screw holes when you’d rather repair a tile than replace it.
What’s in the kit
- Tile & Stone Repair Resin Filler with Hardener, 125 ml, White: a two-part resin filler for chips, cracks and holes.
- TileMaster Filler Tints x 6: black, blue, brown, green, red and yellow. Mix them into the white filler to match the colour of your tile.
- Precision Filling Knife: for pressing the filler into the damage and levelling it off.
- Porcelain Mitre Sandpaper Set: for sanding the cured repair flush with the tile.
Who it suits
Homeowners and fitters repairing chipped, cracked or holed ceramic and porcelain tiles on floors and walls. If you only need the filler and five tints, choose the Basic Tile Repair Kit. For marble, travertine or limestone, see our Stone Repair Kit.
How to use
- Clean and dry the damage. Remove dust, grease and loose pieces so the filler can bond.
- Test the colour. Mix a little filler with a small amount of tint on a scrap surface and compare it with the tile. Add tint a little at a time until it matches.
- Mix with hardener. Mix the coloured filler with the hardener as directed on the product label.
- Fill. Press the filler into the chip, crack or hole with the filling knife, leaving it very slightly proud of the surface.
- Let it cure. Leave it to harden fully, following the times on the label.
- Sand flush. Sand the repair level with the tile using the sandpaper set.
Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first.
